I'm Deborah, and I’ve had an amazing career as a freelance artist and designer! I have a passion for the craft of creating beautiful and considered designs. All my work is hand painted, I only work on the computer to edit
or to produce final art.
After spending 25 years in Sydney, I returned to England in mid-2020
and I'm over the moon about living here again.
My formal art education took place in the UK and includes an
Art Foundation course at Kingston where I received a Distinction,
followed by a BA (Hons) First Class degree in Fashion and Textiles
from Manchester.
About Me.
As a multi-disciplinary artist, my work spans across textiles, illustration, graphic design and art. I've been fortunate to work on many diverse and unique projects, each with its own flair and style, including:
• Qantas fabric, wallpaper and blankets for aircraft interiors • Sydney Opera House concert posters, programmes and T shirts, for nearly a decade • The Conran Shop and Heals of London - my own series of greetings cards, book and wrapping paper • French Connection women's wear textiles • Marks and Spencer kids textiles and packaging • Tie Rack limited edition artist-designed silk scarves • Habitat International rug designs, homewares, furniture decoration • Time Out Publications European travel guide illustrations • Sainsbury's packaging
